on a sunny day an angel met someone
who was dressed up as a devil
but as she looked into his eyes
they were neither dark nor evil
they rather resembled her own
full of light and laughter
and as she slowly undressed him
she could see that he was not a devil
he was an angel just like her
she thought she had found her soulmate
as he noticed that she took off his disguise
he was shocked and full of fear
for he was sure to be the devil
he felt panic in the arms of the one
that only wanted to make him feel comforted
but he wanted no love, he wanted control
so he grabbed his coat and pushed her away
and as he left her he broke her heart into pieces
the sharp fragments made her bleed from the inside
now that he was gone
you may think she was a fallen angel
but she survived with a big scar on her chest
that only he was able to heal
